Centro Argentino cordially invites you to the traditional Christmas Party to be held on Sunday, December 8 at 11:30AM at the Hackberry Creek Country Club - 1901 West Royal Lane, Irving, TX 75063 (map).

After the exquisite buffet that the country club has accustomed us, we will have activities for adults and children. The adults can enjoy the music of the folk group Son del Plata. We will also raffle the classic Christmas baskets. The kids can have their faces painted, while they await the arrival of Santa Claus. To end the event, we will all dance to the rhythm of music for all ages.

Admission will be $40 for members, $45 for guests, $15 for children up to 12 years and free for child...

On November 9th at 7:00 PM. we will have another edition of the Book Society. It be be held at the Venetian Room of the Bonaventure Building, located at 5200 Keller Springs Road, Dallas, TX (MAP). Dr. Ignacio Pujana will present.

Entitled "Mariana Islands, pit and thieves", this informal talk last about 40 minutes, starting with a brief historical introduction since the arrival of Fernando de Magallanes, then focus on research work carried out in several trips to the Mariana Trench, the deepest place on the planet. It will include abundant pictures and short unpublished videos of the work aboard the submersible Shinkai, at depths of 6500 meters.
