The General Consul of Argentina in Houston at the Dinner and Dance Gala July 9th
The Centro Argentino of Dallas/Fort Worth had the honor of receiving the General Consul of Argentina in Houston Gabriel Volpi and his wife Jessica at the celebration of the bicentennial of Argentina's independence and the twentieth anniversary of the Centro Argentino.
The celebration took place at the Hackberry Creek Country Club on the same Saturday July 9th. We all danced with the music of Vicho Vicencio and his orquestra, and we enjoyed the folklore dances with Raíces Argentinas, led by professor Martín Gonzalez and the dancers Jorge, Erica, Vivian, Evelyn y Florencia, and the tango dances with Pablo y Sabrina Monzón.
By the end of the event we raffled prizes donated by the board members, Marie Claire Guanvic, Empamundo, Delicias Cynthia and Hackberry Creek Country Club.
