Information for Argentinean Residents Abroad
The National Social Security Administration (ANSeS) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of the Nation put into effect an optional procedure for the accreditation of Survival in an electronic way. By this means, the people living abroad and receiving their retirement and/or pension benefits will be able to process the Certificate of Survival in the Argentine consulate nearest to their address, which will be transmitted immediately by electronic means to ANSeS.
It should be noted that in this first instance, pensioners or pensioners who have designated a bank as a proxy to collect in their country of residence will be exempt from any other type of presentation, both in the ANSeS and in the proxy bank.
On the other hand, for those holders of benefits who have as attorney to a natural person, the obligation to present the Certificate of Survival continues in force in the way they have been doing so up to the present.
To carry out this new procedure, beneficiaries can access the list of those consulates that are already qualified for the use of this application, entering www.anses.gob.ar, Retirees and Pensioners, Survival / Living Faith section ; Or on the website of the Chancellery: www.cancilleria.gob.ar, as well as on all the websites of the country's representations abroad.
