Saturday May 26th: The Book Society

Cabildo of Buenos Aires

Dear Members and Friends,

On Saturday May 26th at 7:00PM we will celebrate a very important event of the Argentine history: the May Revolution, beginning of the liberating feat.

We will have the opportunity to enjoy a very pleasant moment by toasting and eating homemade meals and drinking a delicious wine. As always, each attendee will collaborate bringing a plate or dessert to share and the Center will offer free drinks as part of the celebration.

After dinner, we will have the honor of welcoming our great friend and historian Luis Crespo to tell us about that important date and its connotations in the rest of America.

We will meet at the Venetian Room of the Bonaventure Building, located at 5200 Keller Springs Road, Dallas, TX (MAP).

The meeting begins at 7:00 PM with dinner and the presentation will begin as soon as we finish dessert.

Please call the Centro Argentino telephone number (972) 510-5749 and leave a message to make your reservation (RSVP) before Thursday, May 24th. That way we can comply with the formality of informing the administration of the building the number of attendees.

The Bonaventure building is private property, so the visitor parking is limited. Arriving at the gate of the parking lot, simply tell the guard you are bring food to the Venetian Room. This way you can simply enter the premises and park in spaces for visitors. If you require assistance to park, you can use the Valet Parking service provided by the building, the cost will be covered by Centro Argentino.

Come join us.
